The next set of live matches from the JD Cymru Premier have been confirmed by the league's official broadcast partner, S4C.

The league leaders The New Saints will welcome the defending JD Cymru Premier champions Connah's Quay Nomads in the first of the newly announced fixtures, with a 7:45pm kick-off at Park Hall on Friday 21st January.

Anthony Limbrick's Saints will be aiming to pick up their fifth straight victory in their first game of 2022 and maintain their 12-point lead at the top of the league. The Nomads are also in an impressive run of form having gone 11 games unbeaten in all competitions, with their last defeat coming against Newtown in October.

Bala Town's clash with Newtown seven days later will also be played in front of the Sgorio cameras, with the game getting under way at 7:45pm at Maes Tegid.

Bala, who sit sixth, ended 2021 with a 5-3 win over Cefn Druids and are four places behind Chris Hughes' side, who picked up maximum points in December as the Robins boss was named the JD Cymru Premier Manager of the Month.
