Pontypridd Town overtake Llantwit Major to go top, as the Major fall to defeat at home against Swansea University, and Pontypridd battle to victory against Ammanford.
Afan Lido earned their fifth league victory of the campaign against Trefelin this afternoon with a strong 2-1 victory. Joshua Webber gave the visitors an early lead as he netted only 10 minutes into the match, before Jordan Edwards doubled the lead from the spot on the 22 minute mark. Joseph Jones pulled one back for the visitors late on, but Afan Lido held on for all three points.
Briton Ferry Llansawel extended their unbeaten run in the Cymru South to 10 matches with a 4-0 victory away at Undy Athletic this afternoon. Mark Jones opened the scoring with an early third minute penalty. The hosts were reduced to 10-men just before half-time as Daniel Tozer was shown his marching orders. Three second half goals from Tyler Brock, Keiran Williams and Cory Woods saw the visitors earn a comfortable three points.
Llantwit Major fell to a second league defeat of the season at the Windmill Ground this afternoon. Swansea University scored twice in the opening five minutes, with Tim Hicks netting after three minutes and George Sellick doubling the lead after five. The remaining 85 minutes was goalless, as Swansea came away with a 2-0 victory.
Winless Port Talbot Town hosted Carmarthen Town at Victoria Road. An uneventful first half saw the sides go into the break on level terms at 0-0. This wouldn't be the case for long though, as the Old Gold netted three times in the final 20 minutes, with birthday-boy Liam Thomas scoring all three to complete his hat-trick.
Ammanford made the trip to USW Sport Park as they entertained high-flying Pontypridd Town. It was a goalless first half, but the hosts became clinical in the second half netting four times. Aidan Lewis scored the first, followed by a Drew Fahiya brace and a late Sam Johnson strike, condemning the visitors to a 4-0 defeat.
