The shortlist for the JD Cymru Premier Player and Manager of the Month award has been announced for December.

The winner will be determined by votes from members of the public and the league's voting panel.

Manager of the Month

Andy Morrison - Connah's Quay Nomads

A perfect month for Morrison's men. Four matches played and four victories for the Nomads sees them close the gap on leaders The New Saints. An excellent month for the current champions was made that bit more special when the Nomads defeated TNS 2-0 at Deeside on December 12th.

Huw Griffiths - Caernarfon Town

The Cofis will be pleased with their side's performances in December. After a draw against Bala Town and a 6-0 defeat to Penybont to start the month, Griffiths' side bounced back to record three consecutive victories over Cefn Druids, Barry Town United and Aberystwyth Town, before concluding the month with another draw against Newtown.

A strong comeback signalled a positive month for the club.

Scott Ruscoe - The New Saints

Despite a disappointing defeat to Connah's Quay Nomads at Deeside, The New Saints have continued their fine form throughout the month of December.

Wins over Cefn Druids, Newtown and Penybont cap off an excellent first few months to 2020-21 for the club.

Player of the Month

Lewis Harling - Penybont

Former Carmarthen Town man Lewis Harling is enjoying a fruitful season with Rhys Griffiths' side, and December was arguably his most productive yet.

The midfielder was influential in the club's 6-0 win over Caernarfon Town on December 5th, netting twice in the victory. But, he also netted the winner later last month in a 1-0 win over Cardiff Met to cap off a fine month.

Danny Davies - Connah's Quay Nomads

Danny Davies has been nothing short of superb since his move from Prestatyn Town in the summer. The left wing-back has made the berth his own and has even added goals to his game.

Davies scored twice in December to add to his side's two clean sheets from four games, including one against The New Saints.

Jack Kenny - Caernarfon Town

The frontman has been a pivotal signing for the Cofi Army this season. The striker has found his feet at the Oval and is now adding goals to his performances.

Three goals for the striker helped the club to 11 points in December.
