Llantwit Major moved four points clear of Pontypridd Town at the top of the JD Cymru South after scoring three unanswered goals against Afan Lido.

Thomas Walters, Josh Jones and Connor Goldsworthy were all on target for the league leaders.

10-man Undy Athletic fell to a 3-2 defeat against Carmarthen Town, with Ben Steele grabbing a brace for the away side.

Damon Thomas’ early strike looked to have earned Trefelin BGC maximum points against Taffs Well but David Lyon scored seven minutes from the end to earn the away side a share of the spoils.

Samuel Pashen could have won it from the penalty spot for the Wellmen but he failed to convert from 12 yards.

A brace from Tom Meechan and Jordan Meaney’s early goal helped Cwmbran Celtic secure a 3-1 win over Cambrian and Clydach at Celtic Park.

Sam Jones responded for the visitors with 20 minutes on the clock but it failed to inspire a late comeback.
