Supporters will flock through the turnstiles for the first time since December this weekend as the full JD Cymru Leagues schedule resumes following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions by the Welsh Government.

Here are some of the key fixtures to keep an eye on across the JD Cymru Premier, JD Cymru South and JD Cymru North this weekend.

JD Cymru Premier

The New Saints vs Connah's Quay Nomads

The league leaders The New Saints will be looking to complete a league double over the defending JD Cymru Premier champions Connah's Quay Nomads as the pair lock horns in front of the Sgorio cameras on Friday night.

Declan McManus's penalty on the hour-mark was enough to earn the Saints maximum points when the pair met in October, but the Nomads have seen an upturn in fortunes since then.

Their run of form since the defeat has seen them climb up to fifth in the table and Craig Harrison will be hoping they can stretch their unbeaten run in all competitions to 12 against his former side at Park Hall.

Anthony Limbrick's Saints have won their last four league fixtures and would go 15 points clear at the summit with a victory on Friday with second-placed Newtown not in action until the following day.

JD Cymru North

Ruthin Town vs Airbus UK Broughton

Ruthin Town welcome the JD Cymru North pace setters Airbus UK Broughton to the Memorial Playing Fields on Saturday, with both sides aiming to pick up where they left off last year.

The pair signed off 2021 in a rich vein of form with Ruthin picking up maximum points from their final four games of the year before the break, while high-flyers Airbus secured three wins to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to 14 games.

Ruthin are six points behind third-placed Guilsfield, who have played two games fewer than Phil Hudson's side, and will be looking to close that gap this weekend.

Airbus, meanwhile, have a four-point lead over Llandudno at the summit and could stretch that advantage to seven if the outcome is the same as when the two sides met earlier this season, with Airbus earning a 2-1 win.

JD Cymru South

Briton Ferry Llansawel vs Pontypridd Town

Briton Ferry Llansawel's clash with Pontypridd Town on Saturday is expected to deliver plenty of goals judging by the pair's record this season - they have both netted the joint-most with 57 each in the JD Cymru South.

There are only four points separating Andy Hill's side, who sit third in the table, and leaders Pontypridd, with both sides enjoying impressive campaigns this term.

But they will both be aiming to respond to defeats before Christmas after Ferry fell to a 2-1 defeat against Taffs Well and Pontypridd were beaten by Goytre United, who became only the second team to claim maximum points against Jonathan Jones' side this season.

Despite their impressive records in front of goal this season, the two sides couldn't be separated when they met in September as they played out a goalless draw at the USW Sport Park.
