It was a month which saw Anthony Limbrick guide The New Saints to maximum points as they maintained their place at the top of the JD Cymru Premier. The Saints secured victories over Bala Town, Barry Town United and Penybont to ensure they finished December 12 points clear at the summit.

Chris Hughes – Newtown

December also brought a maximum return for Chris Hughes' Newtown as they secured three successive wins after finishing November with a defeat against the leaders. The Robins notched eight goals in three games to seal victories over Barry Town United, Aberystwyth Town and Flint Town United.

Rhys Griffiths – Penybont

December was a goal-fest for Rhys Griffiths' Penybont as his side played three fixtures which saw 16 goals scored. The Bridgend outfit secured an away victory over Caearnarfon Town before firing home seven against Cefn Druids. They concluded the month with an entertaining clash at Park Hall but suffered a 3-2 defeat against the Saints.

Player of the Month
Jordan Williams – The New Saints

Joseph Chaplin – Gresford Athletic

Joseph Chaplin had a hand in all bar one of Gresford Athletic's seven goals against Prestatyn Town in December. The striker fired home five and provided an assist as his side chalked up an emphatic victory at Clappers Lane, while he registered another assist in their penultimate fixture of the year against Buckley Town.

Jamie Cumming – Ruthin Town
