The FAW National League Board (The Board) has this afternoon postponed Saturday’s JD Cymru North match between Bangor City Football Club and Buckley Town Football Club.

The Football Association of Wales confirmed on Tuesday that Bangor City FC had been suspended from all football related activity following their non-compliance with a Disciplinary Panel order.

A suspension from all football related activity prohibits the Club from any involvement in football, which includes Football matches played in a competition and/or at a ground under the jurisdiction of the FAW.

The Board made the decision today to postpone the match, to provide Buckley Town with 48 hours’ notice, to avoid any unnecessary costs and further inconvenience.

Furthermore, in accordance with League Rule 3.7 the Board have fined Bangor City FC £1,000 (£500 suspended) and deducted three points from their League total for their failure to play the fixture.
