Three penalties from Afan Lido saw them condemen Pontypridd Town to their first defeat in the JD Cymru South.

Pontypridd enjoyed a two goal-lead after Gavin Beddard's early opener and an own goal from Stephen Morris before the away side were reduced to 10 men when David Vincent was dismissed.

Jordan Edwards then tucked away a hat-trick of penalties for Lido to turn the game on its head. Lee Baldock had the opportunity to draw Jonathan Jones' side level with a penalty of his own but failed to convert from 12 yards as their unbeaten record came to an end.

Llantwit Major took advantage of Ponty's defeat to move back to the summit after a seven-goal thriller against Briton Ferry Llansawel.

Major had to come from two goals down as Tyler Brock and Alex Gammond put the home side ahead before Thomas Walters missed the chance to halve the deficit from the penalty spot. The stiker found the back of the net 10 minutes later, although the home side restored their two-goal lead when Brock grabbed his second.

Lee Jones netted for Major on the stroke of half time and Josh Jones struck on the hour mark to level for the visitors, who ensured they made the trip home with maximum points through Walters' 90th-minute winner.

Ammanford responded to three successive defeats by playing out a 2-2 draw with Risca United at the Recreation Ground. Lee Trundle and Tristan Jenkins scored either side of Ryan Wheeler's leveller before Callum Hodges netted for the visitors with 20 minutes left as the spoils were shared.

Jay Thomas grabbed a brace as Goytre United brought Llanelli Town's four-game unbeaten run to end with a convincing 3-0 win at Glenhafod Park Stadium. Goytre's skipper Josef Hopkins was also on target for the home side.

Carmarthen Town and Trefelin shared the spoils as the pair played out a 1-1 draw at Richmond Park, with Bradley Gibbings cancelling out Joe Clarke's opener.

Joe Thomas bagged a hat-trick to inspire Cambrian and Clydach Vale to a 5-2 win over Taffs Well, with an own goal from Luke Davidson and a strike from Ryan Prosser ensuring the hosts bounced back from their defeat against Llanelli Town last time out.

Swansea University chalked up their fourth straight victory with a 4-0 win over Port Talbot Town. Cam Langan, John Roberts, Harry Huddart and Axel Owusu were all on target for the home side.

Undy Athletic came from behind against Cwmbran Celtic to earn a 2-1 win at Celtic Park, with Gareth Cullimore and Paul Clayton wiping out Jordan Meaney's opener.
